POLICE ARREST ONE IN 21 WOMAN ON COUNTS OF ANIMAL CRUELTY. OFFICERS OBTAINED A WARRANT FOR VICKI FENDERSON IN 2018. INVESTIGATORS WENT TO THE HOUSE NEAR N. 28TH AND SARATOGA. THEY FOUND SEVERAL NEGLECTED ANIMALS, INCLUDING ONE CAT, SEVEN KITTENS AND TWO FERRETS. POLICE ALSO FOUND A DEAD LIZ

Omaha police arrested Vicki Fenderson, 55, on Tuesday on 12 counts of animal cruelty. one cat, seven kittens and two ferrets. Police also found a dead lizard and a dead rat in the house. Investigators say the animals found were abandoned.

Agents obtained a warrant for Fenderson in 2018.

According to the Nebraska Humane Society, officers discovered several neglected animals in his home near North 28th and Saratoga streets, including a cat, seven kittens and two ferrets. Police also found a dead lizard and a dead rat in the house.

Investigators say the animals found were abandoned.
